A little Sunday Trip
After 6 months of cold, rain and early darkness you can really feel that people just want to go out. You just want to spend time outside and enjoy the weather (even if it´s not warm it´s nice enough to walk around). Sometimes I think Germany and the mood of its people depend on the weather. When the sun comes out we all start running to catch it – too soon it´s over and again you have to stay inside the whole day and just leave your home to go to work or shopping.
Yesterday Stephan and I went to a wood near here. We had a walk for an hour. I took some photos with my Sony. It´s really amazing how much more fun it is now – the camera is not so heavy and so you can carry it over a long time. And – it makes fantastic 9 Megapixel photos.
So I didn´t just took photos from the wood but also discovered some moss (*lol* yes, people there must have thought I´m crazy) and forsythia. Back home I had to put the photos on my computer and then started extracting. That was SO much work! All these tiny little edges around the flower kept me busy for some hours. But I think the result is worth – it will make a great addition to your digital kits.
I realized yesterday that being a digital designer is something you must do with all your heart. It´s not just to take a photo and extract it – you think about it all day. What´s the next kit? What can be used for commercial use? What can I add to my blog? Which new great tips and tricks can I show you? How can I improve and learn more about these fantastic program Photoshop?
As I announced the other day that I throw out most of my digital kits and have a blow out sale. Because of that I´m busy working at new kits – and discovered a real highlight! Silke from Papierstudio released a fantastic new product – an action to make Soft Art Papers!
I´ve seen it and first I couldn´t believe that something like that could work *lol* but it does and it does absolutely awesome!!! The result is amazing because each and every time you run the action and stroke on the ground you get a new result and more awesome papers. So if you have problems making papers – it´s a must have. I´ve never been a brush fan but now I am. Amazing what you can do with it and how easily you can get results.
