I’m not sure how you do it but every year at this time I think about all the things I have accomplished this year. I usually have a list of ‘goals’ and during the year I often check out my list and see if I’m on the right track. Although this sounds very business like, it is not meant to be. I also include things such as “drink more water”, “read at least one good book per month”, or “go at least once to a musical with my husband” – really, often it is nothing special, it’s just to make sure that I do not do the same mistakes I did the year before again (e.g. read the book to relax more). I tend to go 150% and once I’m in ‘working mood’ there is not much that can stop me and so I worked out that my New Year’s Resolutions or Goal-Plan would keep me on track 😉
So when we started the Mix and Match Collaboration Kits at Digidesignresort I asked the designers to create a collection around the “New Year’s Resolutions”.
In case you have never heard of the term “Mix and Match Collection”:
The Mix and Match Collection is usually a collection of kits from different designers dedicated to one theme and often exclusive to the store the designer creates it for. So in the end there are many different styles available but all kits still match in color. Of course, if designers have a similar style, they also match there

This year I will try to not just write my goals down but I want to create a visualization board. This is simply a whiteboard where you pin all your dreams and goals on – written or in pictures. Really, I think it helps to have your goals in front of you, best every day. Do you have experience with something like that? If so – what did you do? Did it work for you? I would love to hear from you: You can leave me a comment here or contact me over the contact page here.
