I hope you are enjoying spring. I think spring is the best season ever, I love when everything starts to wake up from a long sleep, flowers open their blossoms and the trees are full of green leaves! Do You Stick To Your New Year’s Resolutions? ((SPRING SALE))

If you are like me you start your new year with lots of New Year’s Resolutions but somehow that fades away latest in spring. So I thought that this year we should create a Sports kit – to make layouts that will remind us to our goals. But, of course, you can also use the items for many other things – it is also designed with the soccer game in mind you had so much fun last weekend. The kit though concentrates mostly on fitness items. Beside that, we have also added a collection of papers, wordart and 2 alpha.

This one was really a work of love – it took forever to extract all the elements and create papers which fit perfectly to the rainforest. I have to admit that I had this kit in mind for a long time. I just love the colors in the Rainforest – all that different green colors, the parrots and so many animals we usually never think about. I also added something for humans – thinking of someone who has to survive in the Rainforest. That’s where the different caves come into play – you can add extracted people into the scenery but you can also use the kit for a summer party outside.

Nothing Scrapbooking related… but…

Dear friends,

I know I’ve been quiet lately. I hope you missed me I promise that this will change now, actually I already got out a nice new product “Vintage Paris Tags“.

But I’m truly excited today because we finally have opened the doors of the Affiliate Marketing Lab. Mum and I have been working on it for now 5(!) months! And wow, was that a journey. I can tell you, it’s a BIG moment for us. It has been a ride – from super motivation to struggle to simple exhaustion. But now, we are done and we want to celebrate this moment with you.

We are far away from being ready but we have just opened the doors for our first members! I really hope we can start working with them just this weekend – it’s so exciting to have someone joining who actually want to change her life. And it’s even more exciting to be part of it. As a former teacher I must confess that I miss teaching a lot. I miss my students, I miss when they share their struggles and successes with me and that definitely was another reason for opening the Affiliate Marketing Lab – I finally have some students back I can help succeed.

Back In Designing Mode – What Do You Want Us To Create?

We are back in design mode Mum and I have started to take pictures and put together themes for the new year to get out some great new products. We have been thinking of country specific kits – something like our Route 66 or American Country, which you all have loved a lot. We now thought of South America, Vintage Paris and a Rainforest Kit and I can tell you, seeing all these beautiful colors really got me in designing mood. But more important than what we think might be nice is what you would like to see?

I’d be really thankful if you leave a comment (or two ) with things you are looking for. What are you looking for and did not find? What have you seen what you like but prefer another style? New Year’s Resolutions

I’m not sure how you do it but every year at this time I think about all the things I have accomplished this year. I usually have a list of ‘goals’ and during the year I often check out my list and see if I’m on the right track. Although this sounds very business like, it is not meant to be. I also include things such as “drink more water”, “read at least one good book per month”, or “go at least once to a musical with my husband” – really, often it is nothing special, it’s just to make sure that I do not do the same mistakes I did the year before again (e.g. read the book to relax more). I tend to go 150% and once I’m in ‘working mood’ there is not much that can stop me and so I worked out that my New Year’s Resolutions or Goal-Plan would keep me on track

So when we started the Mix and Match Collaboration Kits at Digidesignresort I asked the designers to create a collection around the “New Year’s Resolutions”.

In case you have never heard of the term “Mix and Match Collection”:

The Mix and Match Collection is usually a collection of kits from different designers dedicated to one theme and often exclusive to the store the designer creates it for. So in the end there are many different styles available but all kits still match in color. Of course, if designers have a similar style, they also match there

This year I will try to not just write my goals down but I want to create a visualization board. This is simply a whiteboard where you pin all your dreams and goals on – written or in pictures.
